Paragon: The Overprime Launching Second Closed Beta Test for PlayStation 5 Next Week

Good news for PS5 players! (Credit: Netmarble)

Netmarble announced that the second Closed Beta Test for the PlayStation 5 version of Paragon: The Overprime is scheduled between December 15 to January 8. This is a way to experience the new changes and the improvements done based on the feedback of players. The only catch is that this beta is only available to those in North America and Europe.

By offering a version on consoles, the game is available to take full advantage of what the PlayStation 5 can offer that include Aim Assist, Adaptive Triggers, Haptic Feedback, Speaker capabilities of the DualSense controller, and 3D Audio.

Going back to the upcoming beta test, it's going to feature Morigesh, Yin, and the newly released hero Marty. Some of the improvements to look forward to in the test is the alternate D-pad layout which allow for a more flexible control method. There's also the auto-purchase feature for in-game items and the different improvements to the UI and camera movements used by the controller.

What do you think? Excited to be part of the closed beta tests?

Paragon: The Overprime is already available for the PC and is a game that anyone can play for free. Players choose one of the heroes having original skills, try to destroy the base of the enemy, and claim it as their own. The game is played through a third-person view featuring different ways to come up with strategies between heroes and various in-game items. Every game played offers an exciting new challenge.

Each hero in the roster has arrived at Prime for their own reasons. Players can upgrade the unique skills of the hero to improve their play and master the game their own way. For now the game offers players a roster composed of 39 heroes. These heroes are divided into different classes which are Warrior, Support, Ranger, Caster, Tank, and Assassin.

Of course, the game isn't just solo play because players have teammates they can rely on. Teams need to come up with new ways to fight and must unite, strategize, and lead the way to victory. Get to learn more about what Paragon: The Overprime has to offer here.
