Paolo Nutini sings alongside die-hard fans in the street and invites them to his gig

Paolo Nutini made a lucky fan's day as they duetted one of his hit songs together on the street.

The singer spent some time getting to know the excited supporters, and even invited them to his gig in Ireland.

In a video posted on TikTok, fan Maria can be seen singing along to hit song ‘Candy’ as they swayed together. Maria captioned the video: “12 year old me is screaming #paolonutini #candy #artist #meetyourheroes.”

The musician seemed to be enjoying himself as he sang along with Maria, holding a glass of wine and grinning the entire time. The post racked up 30,500 likes, and was viewed 478,000 times.

The TikTok user then posted another video of the singer taking ‘Baby Guinness’ shots in a pub alongside the fans. It then cut to a video of the lucky supporters at one of Paolo’s gigs in Ireland earlier in August.

The video was captioned: “Meeting Paolo Nutini and him inviting us to his concert - can I come on tour with you please?” This video has also gone viral on the social media platform, gathering 11,000 likes in under seven hours, and viewed by over 113,000 people.

Fans flocked to the comments of these videos to share their excitement and thinly-veiled jealousy over the fan’s luck in meeting the Paisley superstar. One TikTok user wrote: “I’m so jealous, omg how’d it feel to live my dream.”

Another said: “Omgggg, been a fan for over 10 years and literally never been more jealous in my life, love him.”

And a third wrote: “I’d simply pass away.”

More replies read: “Only reason to go out bevvying, you might meet Paolo.”

While others noted: “I like wouldn't know what to do.”

Commenters said: “I would risk it all for this moment.”

Another added: “When is it my turn.”

While further people commented: “Why does things like this not happen to me.”

Some stated: “Massive dream boat of a man.”

And finally, one concluded: “I’d s*** right then and there on the floor.”
