Scots singer-songwriter Joesef has thanked Paolo Nutini and his crew for being 'so welcoming' and allowing him to warm up the OVO Hydro crowd - in his first ever arena gig.
Paolo has been performing in Glasgow for the past four nights as part of his UK tour, with an extra date added on Tuesday December 20, due to high demand.
However, like every gig, there needs to be something on beforehand to get the crowd going. And that was left to Glaswegian artist Joesef, who is heading off on his own UK and European tour starting in March 2023.
And on Sunday, he tweeted a picture of them both together with the caption: "Candy was the first tune I ever learned on guitar, the big mans music has been a constant in my life so this was a f****** buzz.
"Cheers to @PaoloNutini and crew for being so welcoming, and to glesga for being the best as usual, my first arena man f*** sake."
Joesef has a huge fan base, which continues to grow, even Elton John has previously said that he was "in love" with Joesef and his music.
The lad recently announced his highly anticipated debut album, Permanent Damage , set for release on January 13, 2023. on AWAL.
He told NME that the album is about "fighting in the street on the way home, kissing in the taxi, having nothing to say in the morning".
