The Carolina Panthers have been going to work on their practice squad this week.
According to his agent David Canter of GSE Worldwide (and thanks to an assist from Mike Kaye over at The Charlotte Observer), wideout Mike Strachan will be the latest addition to the group. Once made official, alongside the reported signing of former Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen, the Panthers will have brought in six new faces to their practice squad over the last three days.

Strachan, a Freeport, Bahamas native, played his college ball at the University of Charleston from 2016 to 2020. Between his 2018 and 2019 campaigns, both of which resulted in All-MEC First Team selections, he reeled in a combined 126 receptions for 2,326 yards and 27 touchdowns.
The 6-foot-5, 224-pounder was then taken by Frank Reich’s Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL draft. He played in 19 games for the Colts over the past two years, totaling 85 yards on five grabs.
