The Carolina Panthers probably aren’t singing “Kumbaya” right now.
On Wednesday, head coach Frank Reich confirmed that he’ll be reclaiming play-calling duties from offensive coordinator Thomas Brown. The announcement comes just three games after Reich had handed over the responsibility to his first-year coordinator.
Oh, and you know who’s definitely not singing “Kumbaya” either? Yup, the fed-up fan base . . .

IMHO this is an insult to OC Thomas Brown. I don't care for this decision at all. But whatever Coach Reich. What TF ever!! https://t.co/3H5ff0zHTV

Reich 0-5. Brown 1-2.
Tell me more about this experience. https://t.co/rfPXrxnZ4h

The disfunction on Mint Street is at an all-time high. How the hell are you going to hand over play calling duties (and say it was apart of the preseason plan) just to take them back a few weeks later?

Remember when Ron Rivera took over playcalling his final year when that seat got hot?
Guys would rather go down swinging than sitting by watching.
That seat is hot. #Panthers

Someone tell Thomas Brown and Ejiro Evero to "Get Out" while they still can. The Teppers, Frank Reich, and Scott Fitterer have completely destroyed this organization and turned it into sad off Broadway parody of an NFL franchise. Wow, so damn embarrassing. https://t.co/lHs7hvYvN8 pic.twitter.com/ql7x7V7bi8

I see some people applauding Reich for supposedly protecting Thomas Brown. I have to disagree.
I’d rather Brown have to dig himself out of a hole, than a coach that was fired last year and possibly this year taking away his duties.
No way y’all see that as less detrimental
