Since this Father’s Day will be Bradley Bozeman’s first as a dad, the weekend that lies ahead will be a particularly special one for the Carolina Panthers center. And his beloved wife Nikki, who is also a beloved member amongst the team’s fanbase, made it even more special.
Here, with a very appropriate disclaimer, is what Nikki posted on Saturday morning:
1/4 – GRAB THE TISSUES – Father’s Day came a couple days early at the Bozeman Household. I️ knew I️ wanted to make @BSBoze first Father’s Day one to remember. Bradley has wanted this truck for as long as I️ have known him (going on 10 years 🤯). It is his sweet Uncle Roy’s pic.twitter.com/kDDCDRdZhL

She also added the following in a series of touching tweets:
I remember just coming into the family & uncle Roy was nothing but amazing to me & baked me lots of peanut brittle so of course he was one of my favorites. As time went on I saw uncle Roy be a man that loved his family, friends and most importantly loved God!
You couldn’t help but hear the sweet soul in his voice every time you talked to him. Uncle Roy passed late last year & when his truck was offered to me I knew it was going to be special. Fast forward to Friday & Bradley had NO idea (obviously) & it was the sweetest surprise
We took the truck for a lap around the block & Bradley said I wonder what he was last listening to & when he turned on the radio that was the last part of the video. I’m always amazed at how God always shows up & shows out. I love you so much Bradley! Happy Fathers Day
The Bozemans, much to the delight of the team and its faithful, decided to keep Carolina as their home for the foreseeable future. Bradley, who entered the spring as a free agent, re-signed with the Panthers on a three-year, $18 million deal.
And it’s a great thing that he did—not only for the offensive line and quarterback Bryce Young. Because if he didn’t come back, we wouldn’t have gotten to highlight such an amazing moment for the Panthers power couple.
