Panel van link in Qld shed fire probe

Homicide detectives investigating a shed fire that killed a Queensland father and son have released an image of a distinctive white panel van.

The remains of Todd Mooney, 54, and his 10-year-old daughter Kirra were found after a the fire at Biggenden, southeast of Bundaberg, on December 20.

A 24-year-old Maryborough woman was charged with two counts of murder and one count of arson.

Police on Sunday released an image of a white Holden Barina wagon with a solar panel attached to the roof.

"Investigators appeal to anyone who may have seen the vehicle between 10am and 2pm (on December 20) between Biggenden and Bam Bam Springs to come forward," a police statement said.

The arrested woman was remanded in custody when her case was heard in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Saturday.

The case is due to return to court on Monday.
