Danish jewellery giant, Pandora, has opened a new store at a major shopping centre in the capital.
Alongside an extensive range of jewellery, the shop has also created 12 new jobs for the local community at Newcraighall’s Fort Kinnaird. The unit will be situated in between Typo and Waterstones.
Pandora say that the new store will feature their full collection, including Diamonds by Pandora, which is a unique lab-grown product. They add that they also offer a free engraving service on a number of items that include the brand’s renowned charms and bracelets range - Pandora Moments.

Those visiting the store to make a purchase this weekend are understood to receive a special edition tote bag with every purchase. This offer will continue to run for a limited period of time.
Pandora’s property director, Andrew Milner-Walker, said: “We are very excited to have a new store at Fort Kinnaird and have worked closely with the development team to ensure we bring a brand-new experience to the centre.
“This store features our brand-new Evoke fitout and is the first of its kind in Scotland. The new store design offers customers the opportunity to try on products and browse our extensive range of jewellery with ease. We believe customers will really enjoy the experience, having already had so many positive comments and excitement from the public during the fitout.”
Although a number of positions have already been filled, the store is still looking to recruit sales assistants and hopes to offer these opportunities to locals in the community. Pandora recently joined The Leith Collective in opening up a shop at Fort Kinnaird in the last four weeks.
Liam Smith, centre director at Fort Kinnaird, said: “Pandora is a brilliant addition to the centre, bringing with it a great range of jewellery which we know will prove very popular with our shoppers.
“It joins us at the perfect time in the run up to Christmas, with plenty of gift options to choose from!”
