Pancake Tuesday 2022: Where to get free pancakes in Dublin

The Stella Diner in Rathmines, Mackenzie's at Grand Canal Dock and more Dublin venues are celebrating Pancake Tuesday by offering up free and cheap pancakes to hungry Dubliners.

Pancake Tuesday takes place on March 1 and many a Dub are expected to enjoy both sweet and savoury servings of this beloved treat.

To mark the occasion, a number of Dublin venues will be offering free and cheap pancakes to Dubs.

Stella Diner

The Stella Diner in Rathmines will be giving out complimentary pancakes with a topping of choice all day to each customer with the purchase of a main course.

The venue is promising fluffy American style pancake stacks. Customers can avail of this deal between 8am and 10pm while stocks last.

Captain America's

Similarly, Captain America's is offering free pancake stacks to any customer who orders a main course.

The offer is available for the duration of Pancake Tuesday from their restaurants in Blanchardstown and on Grafton Street.

Mackenzie's

Brunch favourite Mackenzie's at Grand Canal Dock is known for its scrumptious platters of pancakes and French toast.

To celebrate Pancake Tuesday, the restaurant giving away a Pancake Tuesday feast for four lucky friends over on Instagram.

Additionally, Mackenzie's will be serving up the beloved platters all day from 12pm to 3.30pm. The epic sharing platter consists of fluffy American style pancakes, crispy bacon, fresh fruit, chocolate shavings, whipped orange butter, mascarpone, maple syrup, chocolate sauces and berry compote.

Union Cafe

Union Cafe in Mount Merrion is keeping tradition alive as it serves up pancakes with lemon and sugar available all day from the deli for just €2, with extra toppings available for an additional 50c.

The kitchen team has also created a special dessert of Crepe Suzette, a warm crepe served with orange Cointreau sauce and vanilla ice cream for €5.
