Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has revealed she earns just £800 a year from the TV show’s royalties.
The smash hit about lifeguards in California was watched by 1.1 billion people in 150 countries in the 1990s.
Pamela, who played CJ Parker, reportedly earned £1,200 per episode in 1992, rising to £240,000 for each show during her last series in 1997.
But she claimed she has missed out on huge sums while Baywatch is aired again. The mum-of-two, 55, said: “My kids are very protective of me and they are like how could this happen.
“Brandon was looking at my Baywatch residuals and he is like, ‘You make a thousand dollars a year on Baywatch residuals in total?’
“Amazon Prime streams Baywatch, but I don’t get anything from that.
“But there was no such thing as streaming then or syndication.”
Pamela also said she has not received a penny from a doll based on her Baywatch character.
She claimed she lost out on millions because Hugh Hefner’s Playboy empire managed her early career.
Pamela spoke out ahead of the release of her memoir on Tuesday and new Netflix documentary. She told US shock jock Howard Stern: “The only way people could get hold of me was through Playboy. I didn’t have an agent.
“I didn’t think I was going to be an actress. I love Hef.
“I was not thinking about how many magazines I was selling. I thought I could pay my rent, have a credit card and get my nails done.”
