As you venture further into the immersive world of Palworld, you'll inevitably encounter a wide range of materials that go beyond the basic stones, wood, and ore required for crafting. These materials include various minerals like Coal, Sulfur, and Quartz, as well as elemental organs and fluids. In this comprehensive guide, we'll outline where you can find these materials, offering helpful maps and a list of the Pals you might need to catch or defeat.
Let's start with Coal and Pure Quartz. Both of these resources can be found on the same map. Coal, indicated by red circles on the map, can often be discovered in desert biomes, although it can also be scattered throughout normal and mid-high level zones. Concentrations of Coal clusters are depicted by small circles on the map. Keep in mind that Pure Quartz, circled in yellow, is a late-game material and can only be found in the freezing mountains up north. Thus, you'll need a strong team and appropriate gear to brave the cold without succumbing to frostbite. As far as I know, Pure Quartz can only be found in this region, so best of luck on your quest to obtain it.
Moving on to Sulfur, while it is possible to stumble upon Sulfur nodes in the wilderness, the most reliable location to find them is within the scattered dungeons across the map. Not every dungeon will have Sulfur, but many of them do. Additionally, these dungeons offer an excellent opportunity to mine Palladium in larger quantities. Instead of the rather meager piles of 5 you might come across elsewhere, you'll have the chance to obtain chunks of 40 Palladium at a time. This makes dungeon exploration a lucrative endeavor and an efficient way to gather essential resources.
Now, let's shift our attention to the materials provided by Pals. I believe this covers most of the rare materials you can find in the wild. If I missed anything, I'll be sure to update this guide. Happy hunting, fellow adventurers!
