Paloma Faith confirms she has split from husband Leyman Lahcine in holiday post about being a single mum

Singer Paloma Faith has confirmed she’s split from her husband and the father of her two daughters, Leyman Lahcine.

The singer, 42, confirmed on social media she was a  “single mum” in a post about returning from a holiday with her children.

Faith, who married the French artist, 36, in 2017, has two daughters aged five and two.

She posted on Instagram that she had just returned from a fun trip to Mallorca with her girls.

Under a bikini snap of herself, Faith wrote: “Just got back from holidays in Mallorca where I realised I speak ‘survival Spanish’ (not bad considering I wasn’t raised with my dad speaking to me in Spanish).

“I can single handedly do a flight with two kids alone, that I love the company of my kids but it’s easier with others around, that I am blessed in a million ways and will always be grateful.

“Everything can wait (needed to learn this), that nothing needs to be a stressful as it often becomes (stress is accumulative) and that I probably should live in a place with a warmer climate (who’s coming?).”

She added the hashtags: “#singlemum #palomafaith #mallorca #helpfromfriends #family #summerholiday #mumlife #workaholic.”

Rumours that the pair - who had been together for about nine years - had split began in November 2022.

According to The Sun, the Only Love Can Hurt Like This hitmaker told pals she was single at Jonathan Ross‘ Halloween that year.

A source also told the publication: “Paloma and Leyman have ended their relationship and she is very much single.

“Things between Paloma and Leyman became strained over the past year and they’re no longer together – although they co-parent their children together.”

Faith recently performed at the Coronation Concert in Windsor to honour King Charles.

She performed her hit Lullaby at the Windsor concert as towns and cities across the country were lit up.

The singer wore a puffy pink dress, a black headband and long shiny gloves as light shows took place in 10 towns and cities, including Sheffield, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Belfast and Newcastle.
