Mining magnate Clive Palmer has sought to recover $34 million from his former solicitor, asking a court for equity in a large property portfolio allegedly purchased with "misappropriated" funds.

Mr Palmer's companies including Mineralogy claim Sam Iskander forged legal service invoices worth millions of dollars.
