On Monday, a devastating Israeli strike in Gaza resulted in the loss of several aid workers, including Saif Issam Abu-Taha, a dedicated Palestinian driver and translator working with the non-profit organization World Central Kitchen. The team, traveling in two armored vehicles clearly marked with the charity's logo, was operating in what was considered a 'deconflicted zone' at the time of the attack.
Regrettably, at least seven aid workers lost their lives in this tragic incident. Among the victims were individuals from various nationalities, including a dual US-Canada national, as well as citizens from Australia, Poland, and the United Kingdom.
