'Pale' boy's nose bleeds found to be sign of devastating diagnosis before 12th birthday

A boy who was experiencing "regular nose bleeds ", pale skin and bruising received a devastating diagnosis just days before his birthday.

Lewis Wright was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in July 2020, a mere four days before he turned 12.

The teenager from Southport went on to endure months of chemotherapy treatment at Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
