Islamabad: A senior Pakistan Army general has confirmed the presence of his country's troops in Saudi Arabia, saying they were performing duties in "multiple capabilities" and "domains", amid increasing attacks in the Gulf Kingdom by Yemen's Houthis.
The acknowledgement by the military spokesman Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry comes days after Pakistan and Turkiye agreed to deploy their troops in Saudi Arabia under the recently concluded Makkah defence pact.
