NEW DELHI: The Pakistan women's cricket team has been hit with a double blow ahead of the Asian Games. Former captain Bismah Maroof has withdrawn from the squad due to the event's "no travelling with children" policy.
This policy prevents athletes from bringing their babies to the Games. As a result, Bismah declined to be part of the Asian Games squad as she would not have been able to travel with her daughter to the Games village under the regulations.
