Pakistan ex-cricketer gets 12 years for inciting murder of Dutch MP

NEW DELHI: Former Pakistan international cricketer Khalid Latif on Monday was handed a 12-year prison sentence by a Dutch court for urging the murder of anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders.

In an online video, the 37-year-old Latif offered a sum of 21,000 euros ($22,500) for the head of Geert Wilders, who had initiated a controversial competition involving cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed.
