NEW DELHI: Pakistan's coach, Grant Bradburn, has expressed his desire for the team to adopt an assertive style of cricket as they embark on their preparations for the upcoming World Cup. The journey commences with a three-match ODI series against Afghanistan.

Scheduled to kick off in Sri Lanka on August 22, the series marks the initial phase of Pakistan's build-up. Subsequently, the team will participate in the Asia Cup, hosted jointly by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, before venturing into the World Cup in India, set to begin on October 5.
