Armed assailants targeted two security posts hours apart in remote areas of Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, triggering gun battles that killed at least four attackers and a soldier, the military said.
Later, the newly formed separatist Balochistan Nationalist Army claimed responsibility for Wednesday’s attacks in a post on Twitter.
