WRC Paraguay: Pajari take third consecutive win to strengthen title challenge

WRC Elfyn Evans Sami Pajari Toyota Oliver Solberg Rally Paraguay Paraguay Adrien Fourmaux Jon Armstrong Josh McErlean

Sami Pajari made World Rally Championship history with a third consecutive victory at Rally Paraguay, cutting Elfyn Evans’ championship lead to 20 points.

After taking a maiden win in Estonia followed by triumph in Finland, Pajari and co-driver Marko Salminen managed to tame Paraguay’s abrasive, constantly changing clay/gravel stages. The Toyota pairing claimed an impressive victory by 25.8s from Hyundai's Hayden Paddon, who made his first top-tier WRC gravel start since 2018.
