An honorary Buddie and rock music legend who played to audiences bigger than the population of Paisley is set to return for homecoming gigs.
Davey Pattison fronted the popular US-based band Gamma throughout their heyday in the 70s and 80s and wowed a crowd of more than 80,000 fans during a gig at the Oakland Coliseum, in California, in 1982.
After being headhunted to front Ronnie Montrose’s new band in 1979, Pattison left Paisley for the United States and spent the next 40 years touring the world, performing in concert halls, arenas and stadiums.
