Paisley has been listed as one of the unhappiest places to live in the UK, according to a new study.
The town has ranked fifth on the list, just behind Glasgow, with Bradford claiming the depressing top spot.
Other towns and cities which made the list were Barnsley, Rochdale, York and Belfast.
Meanwhile, places such as Chichester, St Helens, Eastbourne and Southend-on Sea are considered the happiest places.
Based on the total number of sunlight hours an area has over the winter period, the study shows that Paisley is one of the most naturally unhappy places, with the town only seeing 140 hours of predicted sunlight this winter.

With Blue Monday set to take place on next week on January 17, and around two million people in the UK affected by Seasonal Affective Disorder, the study is inspired by research which states that two-fifths of UK adults feel more depressed due to dark nights.
Researchers used official climate data from the Met Office in order to determine which cities and towns experience the most hours of sunlight in the winter.
Using this data, they analysed the average and overall hours of sunlight during the winter months (January, February and December).
With this data, they then compared each town and city’s sunlight hours to determine which locations were the best and worst for sunlight hours in the UK.
Neil Wright, a sleep expert at Beds Divans, who carried out the study, said: “Healthy sleep helps us balance our moods and regulate our emotions. Without healthy sleep, you’re more likely to struggle with feelings of depression and anxiety.
“Seasonal affective disorder affects more than just your energy levels; it also affects your sleep and day-to-day life. People with SAD often feel excessively sleepy during the day and typically sleep longer than usual at night.”
