A disturbance on a Paisley street has led to a man being rushed to a Glasgow hospital and a woman arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Police were called out to Renfrew Road in Paisley at around 7.30pm on Monday, October 10th amid reports of a brawl, with officers cordoning off the area as they carried out their investigations.
A 48-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries, but has since been confirmed to be in a stable condition.

Police confirmed that they had arrested a 45-year-old woman in connection and that she will appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 7.30pm on Monday, 10 October, to a report of a disturbance in Renfrew Road, Paisley.
“A 48-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries where his condition is described as stable.
“A 45-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 11 October, 2022.”
