Paisley childrenswear store announces closure after almost two decades in business

Another Paisley outlet has closed down as the cost-of-living crisis continues to take its toll on businesses.

Menace Childrenswear in Causeyside Street has pulled down the shutters in another devastating blow to the retail industry in the town.

The shop’s owners took to social media to share the heartbreaking news with their customers.

The popular children's clothing store had been operating for 18 years but it has become yet another victim of the financial pain being inflicted on citizens and companies across the United Kingdom.

And in a poignant post on Facebook, the owners confirmed that they had decided to call it a day.

They said: “To all our loyal customers. Menace is no more!

“Like many small business – after 18 years trade it’s game over for us. Signing out with a heavy heart.

“Wishing you all the very best … it has been simply wonderful. Clare & Catherine.”
