Services at Paisley Central Library will be suspended for around eight weeks in autumn, it has been confirmed.
The pause will allow resources to be transferred from the temporary building next to the Lagoon Leisure Centre to the new learning and cultural hub in the High Street, which is expected to open later this year.
Councillors agreed to the request from OneRen, the trust responsible for culture and leisure services, which needed permission to suspend services for the move, at Wednesday’s leadership board.
