Police have urged residents in Paisley to be vigilant following reports of a bogus workman who targeted an elderly woman in her home.
The man entered the property in the Alice Street area claiming to be a plumber around 2pm on November 10. After looking around, he enquired about cash kept within the house before leaving empty-handed.
He is described as white, Scottish, around 5ft 4in tall, and unshaven. He was wearing a blue shirt, dark body warmer, and grey beanie hat, and was holding a black clipboard.
