- Two men, Adam Bedoui and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub, have been spared immediate imprisonment after filming themselves subjecting a Jewish man to antisemitic abuse in east London.
- The incident took place on 7 May in Clapton Common, Hackney, where the duo intentionally targeted a Jewish individual to create content for TikTok.
- They received a six-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, after pleading guilty to religiously aggravated intentional harassment.
- Bousloub told police he aimed to provoke a reaction and gain views, emulating a video he had seen online, and believed the Jewish community would find it humorous.
- Both men were also ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work, 20 days of rehabilitation activity, and pay £85 in prosecution costs.
