Pair taken to hospital after dog attack in Aberdeenshire

A DOG has been euthanised after attacking and injuring two people.

Police were called after a man and a woman were attacked by the dog at around 4pm on Saturday.

The pair were taken to hospital for treatment, and the dog was seized and put to sleep after the attack in Boddam, Aberdeenshire.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4pm on Saturday, police received a report a man and woman had been attacked by a dog in Claymore Crescent, Boddam.

“Officers attended and both injured parties were taken to hospital. The dog was seized and has been destroyed. Inquiries are ongoing.”
