Police investigating a homophobic hate crime on board the London Overground in east London have released an image of a man they want to speak to.
The British Transport Police said two victims were on board an Overground train between Stratford and Hackney Central at around 3.45pm on Thursday June 15 when they were subject to abuse.
Officers said a man unleashed homophobic abuse at the pair, and spat at the victims, threatening them with violence.
He also made a racist gesture towards one of them, they said.
Police on Monday released an image of a man who they believe could have information to help with their investigation.
