A pair of teens have been reported missing after not being seen for two nights as police launch a probe to trace them.

Connor Storrie, 14, and Saira Shafiq, 13, were last seen in St Leonard's, East Kilbride at around 4pm on Wednesday, May 25.

Police Scotland officers believe that they are both together.

Connor has been described as around 5ft 8ins in height, of a slim build with short blonde hair.

He is believed to have been wearing a school uniform at the time of his disappearance.

Saira has been described as around 5ft tall, of a slim build with black hair.

She was wearing a black top, black skirt, black padded jacket, and black trainers when she was last seen.

Inspector David Doherty of East Kilbride Police Office said: "Concerns are growing for Saira and Connor and we are urging anyone who may have seen them or know where they are to get in touch.

"Local officers are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace them both.

"I would ask that anyone who believes they may have seen Saira and Connor, or who has any other information, contacts us on 101, quoting reference 1839 of Wednesday, 25 May, 2022."
