Alan Shearer has found himself in trouble with Gareth Southgate's wife after filming wildfires near the England manager's holiday home in Portugal. The Newcastle United FC legend and former England star recorded a video on Wednesday, in awe as terrifying fires swept through the Algarve region.

The former England striker says in the video: “This is unbelievable, I’ve never seen anything like this. Look at it... this is the roundabout near Gareth Southgate’s house. Someone needs to get here quick.”

Southgate's wife Alison, 55, arrived at their holiday home in the sun on Saturday, following a week of wildfires nearby. Gareth is also believed to be visiting with her, The Mirror reports.
