Paetongtarn "Ung Ing" Shinawatra of the Pheu Thai Party leads other potential candidates for the post of prime minister among voters in the northeastern province of Ubon Ratchathani, an opinion poll showed on Sunday.

Pita Limjaroenrat of the Move Forward Party and Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha of the United Thai Nation Party trailed far behind in a survey by the National Institute of Development Administration, or Nida Poll.

New York has just declared a state of emergency as measles cases continue to rise. So far this year, the US has recorded 3,887 cases of measles, the highest annual total since 1991. That is about 70% more cases than were recorded during the whole of 2025.
