Padraig Harrington endeared himself even further to the golfing community by picking up a bar tab for over 40 PGA Champions Tour caddies.
Harrington, who has taken home over €2 million in prize money on the Champions Tour this year, was in a celebratory mood after picking up his second win on tour in three weeks at the Ascension Charity Classic last weekend.
The group of caddies, who had organised a party amongst themselves, were treated by Harrington and witnessed the Dubliner's amazing generosity first hand.

"A couple of @ChampionsTour caddies arranged a party tonight in Sioux Falls," said Troy Martin, one of the caddies present, on Twitter.
"@padraig_h showed up, dominated the pool table, and picked up the entire tab for 40+ caddies. Class act. THANK YOU! @SanfordIntl"
Harrington, who has a rumoured net worth of close to €40 million, ensured that not a single caddie had to put their hand in their pockets for the entire night.
The caddie's had organised a get together for themselves, but as a mark of respect invited Harrington, who appears to be one of the few if not the only non-caddie at the party.
The 51-year-old multiple major winner still showed his competitive side on the night, and is said to have 'dominated' the pool table throughout the evening.
Harrington appeared on SiriusXM radio the following day and claimed that the Twitter praise he has received for 'dominating' the pool table was worth the huge bill alone.
The two time Champion Golfer of the year was asked on Wednesday about the night, and paid tribute to the importance of caddies to the sport and the stories that they have to share.
“They have the real story,” Harrington said. “The last night we were talking stories about guys I knew, because I’m out here 25 years but some of the caddies are 40 years so they have the stories.
"And they confirmed a few stories that I kind of knew about. It’s kind of priceless to get their insight on what happened."
“They know stuff that’s not in the public domain.”
An amazing show of class from Harrington, not that we've come to expect anything less from one of Ireland's greatest sportspeople.
