Padraig Harrington called Shane Lowry a 'lightweight' after he was unable to reach the Offaly man at 3.30am following their respective wins over the weekend.
Lowry won the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth on Sunday hours before Harrington claimed his third victory of the year on the PGA Tour Champions in St Louis.
But the latter was unable to get a hold of the former when he tried to contact him at 3.30am Irish time on Monday morning.

Harrington was hoping to congratulate Lowry on his win, but the 2019 Open champion didn't answer the phone.
Speaking in a clip shared by the the PGA Tour Champions, Harrington said: "I'd be shocked if he's not still going. I tell you what... either way if Shane is not still partying I'm not happy or else he's not answering my phone call at what time is it, 3.30 in the morning.
"Either way I'm not impressed with him. So... I'm assuming there must be a problem with the connection. There's no way he wouldn't be answering. Good God he's a lightweight. He must have gone to bed.
"There you go, I did get to watch his golf before I went out, it was nice... a nice feeling to see him win and then you're going out.
"But he's obviously a lightweight, gone to bed early."
Lowry produced a flawless performance to edge out Ryder Cup team-mates Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy at Wentworth.
Rahm had set a testing clubhouse target of 16 under par following a stunning final round of 62, the former US Open champion carding two eagles and seven birdies and covering the back nine in just 29 despite a bogey on the 15th.
However, Lowry responded with an eagle and five birdies of his own in a closing 65 to finish 17 under, the former Open champion not carding a single bogey in a tournament reduced to 54 holes following the loss of Friday’s play after the death of the Queen.
McIlroy found himself needing to eagle the 18th to force a play-off with Lowry but agonisingly saw his putt from 23 feet finish millimetres right of the hole.
Meanwhile, Harrington recorded his highest score of the week, but it was still enough for him to win the Ascension Charity Classic by a single shot.
Harrington's final round included eight birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey as he finished on 14 under par for the tournament.
