Paddy Pimblett Backs Trent Alexander-Arnold To Join Real Madrid

UFC star Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett has predicted that Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold will sign for Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer.

Staunch Liverpool fan and UFC superstar Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett expects Reds defender Trent Alexander-Arnold to depart for record Champions League winners Real Madrid at the end of this season.

Alexander-Arnold, a 33-time England international, is reportedly Los Blancos’ priority target for the summer transfer window, with his contract due to expire in June 2025.

A move to the Spanish capital would see him join fellow Three Lions star and good friend Jude Bellingham, who joined the club from Borussia Dortmund for a reported initial fee of €103 million in June 2023.

Real’s current first-choice right-back, Dani Carvajal, is out injured until October 2025 at the very earliest, and given that he will be 33 by then, Alexander-Arnold would surely move above him in the pecking order upon his arrival.

Liverpool face off against Real Madrid at Anfield in the Champions League in around two weeks time, where they’ll be looking to maintain their place at the top of the league phase table with their 100% win record, and Pimblett believes his beloved Reds will do exactly that when the Spanish champions come to visit.

Paddy Pimblett: “Trent Alexander-Arnold Is More Than Likely Going To Real Madrid”

Speaking to Liverpool.com, Pimblett spoke on the potential departures of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold, stating: “They’re definitely not all leaving. I want them all to stay. I don’t want anyone to leave, but I think Van Dijk and Salah are both going to stay.

“I think that Trent is more than likely going to go to Real Madrid.”

Continuing, looking forward to Liverpool‘s Champions League clash against Los Blancos later this month, Pimblett said: “I think we’ll beat them. I always think we’ll beat them.

“That Champions League final [in 2021/22] still hurts to this day. [Thibaut] Courtois just had an out-of-body experience, the best game he’d ever had in his life. He’s never looked that good.

“It’s just so dumb how we lost. I was there and it was f***ing heartbreaking.”

The UK’s best football betting sites have the Reds as clear favourites heading into the tie, while they are also favourites to lift the Premier League title come the end of the campaign.
