Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann have taken over Nabzy's takeaway for the latest instalment of the popular series Chicken Shop Date.
Film crews headed to the much-loved takeaway on Lower House Lane in Norris Green at the start of November as Amelia Dimoldenberg recorded the newest edition of her interview series, Chicken Shop Date. The show sees Amelia asking her guests random questions as they eat fried chicken and chips for a "date".
The show already recorded in Nabzy's back in 2019 when rapper and Youtuber KSI visited Liverpool as part of his European tour. The manager of Nabzy's, Nabeel Tabarik, said the opportunity came up "out of nowhere".

He told The ECHO : "Amelia always does Chicken Shop Date in London, she had never been to anywhere else. The video she filmed with KSI was deleted and her memory card was corrupted, so she had to go on a second date with him.
"He was touring in Liverpool at the time and Amelia asked on her social media for chicken shops in Liverpool she should ask to record in. All the students just started commenting saying "Nabzy's" and people were writing really funny comments.
"My cousin showed me and said 'there's loads of comments about Nabzy's you should get in touch'. So I emailed Chicken Shop Date and then they came down."
This time UFC stars Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett and Meatball Molly took to the popular red tables to be interviewed by Amelia.
A post on the Chicken Shop Date Instagram said: "I’ve been dating a lot of musicians recently…and it’s not been working out. So I’ve decided to switch things up and give it a shot with @theufcbaddy and @meatballmolly. Woo!! Thankfully there were no fights on the date, just flirting…Out on FRIDAY!"
Nabeel said his team served the stars two spicy wing meals and one fillet burger with the iconic chips and red salt. Amelia told staff she "loved Nabzy's" and was a "big fan" of the popular takeaway.
She added the chicken nuggets were "the best she'd had" and she also loved the garlic mayo.
36-year-old Nabeel said: "They came in, closed the shutters and started setting up ready for Amelia arriving. There was a whole team of them and it was quite intimidating. Then Amelia turned up and Paddy and Molly.
"Paddy and Molly were sat in the back office with us and we were all just chatting and one of our staff was even serenading them. They're all the most lovely and down to earth people, I have never met nicer people than that in my life.
"They're exactly what Liverpool is all about."
This isn't the first time Liverpool icons have stepped food in Nabzy's, with Sadio Mane and Natasha Jonas also enjoying food there.
