Paddy McLaughlin admits he is unsure how Glentoran's fortnight of inactivity will affect them when they travel to Solitude on Tuesday evening.
The Glens have been out of action since their 3-0 defeat to Linfield in the BetMcLean League Cup semi-final on Tuesday 6 December.
The recent adverse weather conditions have led to their league games against Glenavon and Carrick Rangers being postponed on successive weekends.

McLaughlin was happy to see Cliftonville back in action again on Saturday as they put their own League Cup exit behind them thanks to a 4-1 victory over Portadown after a free Saturday the week before as Linfield played in the Scottish Challenge Cup.
However, the Reds boss feels a free week is not always the best thing.
“Glentoran haven’t had a game for two weeks and that can go one of two ways," said McLaughlin.
"It can freshen you up but you can maybe also be lethargic.
“Our boys are coming in game after game and hopefully now we are building momentum again.
“It really can go either way, either for or against you, and hopefully for us it will go against Glentoran and we can pick up where we left off on Saturday.
“It was important to get back to winning ways ahead of Tuesday night and Boxing Day.
“We set standards for ourselves and we want to be up at the top end challenging and we want to stay with the leader’s so it was important we got a result on Saturday."
