Paddy McGuinness issued a health update on Instagram
The 48-year-old comedian has revealed he underwent a knee operation to repair a torn lateral meniscus.
Paddy has been managing the injury for the past six months, and was relieved as he shared before and after snaps following his surgery today.

He told his 2m followers: "Finally got my knee op done! Been managing with it for 6 months, such a relief to finally get it sorted. Few days rest now, then we get this puppy moving!!!
"I had a torn lateral meniscus, along with a blue surgical sock. Both were removed successfully."
Paddy is married to former Miss Liverpool, Christine McGuinness, and the mum-of-three took to the comments and said she would care for him throughout his recovery.
She said: "Nurse McGuinness at your service."
Celebrity fans and followers also flooded the comments to wish Paddy well in his recovery.
