Paddy McGuinness has shared his quiet night in after offering support for his ex-wife Christine who quit social media. The Top Gear host posted a picture of his dinner on Monday, after Christine announced she was taking a social media hiatus.
"Night in in. Toasted @modernbaker superloaf with Marks and Spencer chicken rillette. Heaven," he wrote. The Take Me Out star recently got back from a holiday abroad with Christine and their three children.
The two co-parent their kids and jetted off on holiday as a family after splitting last summer, reports Birmingham Live. "Back home from a wonderful 5 days away with the kids. We’re so proud of how well they did at the airport, this was the first time they’d been on a plane since 2019. They absolutely loved their holiday," the 49-year-old said.

"Big thanks to the glorious staff at @manairportuk @easyjet @jet2pics and @zafirohotels who helped take some of the stress away. It was also a lovely gesture of Jet2 to let myself and Brendan Rodgers fly the plane home." Both Paddy and Christine were posting and sharing pictures with fans from their holiday abroad.
But on Monday, Christine announced she was taking a break from social media. She posted: "Time for a little digital detox. In a world of algorithms, hashtags and followers, I really want to embrace the true importance of human connection and go back to basics for a bit.
"P.S.. Im not really sure what I think about the whole ‘social media silence’ announcement thing but I have lots of lovely followers on here who check in on me daily and I don’t want to worry anyone whilst I have a little quiet time.
"I am very happy and healthy, I’m just ready to embrace switching off, being present and living low key for a while." Countdown star Carol Vorderman simply shared a couple of red heart emojis in the comments section while another fan said "It's good to switch off sometimes.... enjoy x".
