Paddy McGuinness enjoys 'treat' meal for one as Christine attends NTAs without him

Paddy McGuinness has shared what he is getting up to while Christine McGuinness attends the National Television Awards without him.

Taking to Instagram he posted an image of a chippy tea where he enjoyed a 'pudding, chips and peas' all drizzled in delicious gravy. The comedian didn't even bother to empty the tray onto a plate before digging into his meal for one.

The dad-of-three captioned the post: "Sometimes only a chippy tea will do! Before and after. Chips, pudding, peas and gravy. #thursday #dayoff #chippytea #pudding #chips #peas #gravy #littletreat."

Paddy went on to share a second image showing the tray completely empty. He placed his knife and fork on top to show that he was done and looked like he thoroughly enjoyed every last bite.

Meanwhile, Paddy's ex, Christine McGuinness is at the NTAs tonight as they have been nominated for an award. The former couple are parents to three autistic children and they made a BBC documentary to highlight the day to day struggles that they face.

However, since the documentary aired they decided to part ways and ended their 11-year marriage. Speaking about attending the star-studded award ceremony, Christine posted honestly on Instagram.

She said: "I'm a nominee for the documentary that me and Patrick made with our children and I'm really anxious. I'm quite nervous, just because of everything obviously. It's not the best situation".
