A person has died and two others needed rescuing from the water after a group of paddleboarders got into difficulty in the water in north Wales.
A major rescue operation, involving police, the Coastguard, ambulance crews, an RNLI crew and the Coastguard helicopter, was launched just after 10pm yesterday.
Three people were pulled from the water and two were taken to hospital for treatment, with North Wales Police confirming one person died later in hospital.
