Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur said wide receiver Allen Lazard is the only absence from the start of the team’s mandatory minicamp.
Lazard still hasn’t signed his contract tender. The Packers gave him a second-round restricted tender worth a little under $4 million for the 2022 season, but he’s not under contract until he signs the tender.
“Everybody that is currently signed on our roster is full participation,” LaFleur said. “I have not seen Allen.”
A deadline is coming. Lazard must sign his tender by June 15 or risk his 2022 salary getting dropped to under $1 million.
The Packers and Lazard could be working through negotiation on a new, long-term contract.
Lazard caught 40 passes for 513 yards and eight touchdowns during the 2021 season. He’ll likely see a larger target share in 2022 after the Packers lost Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling this offseason.
The only other unsigned player is second-round pick Christian Watson.
