Welcome to the third day of training camp for the Green Bay Packers. Matt LaFleur’s team will practice for a third consecutive day on Wednesday before a mandated day off on Thursday. Then, training camp really begins — the pads are expected to come on later in the week. Of course, Jordan Love is still without a new deal as of Wednesday morning, so he’ll likely be a non-participant for a third straight day.
What will Day 3 bring at Ray Nitschke Field?
Here’s everything to know from Wednesday, July 24th, the third training camp practice of 2024:

On the competition next to Xavier McKinney, LaFleur said the Packers would rotate players in every day. Rookies Javon Bullard and Evan Williams have both gotten extended looks with the first-team defense.
Injury updates
LaFleur said Jayden Reed (toe) is coming off the non-football injury list on Wednesday. He’ll be limited while working individual drills Wednesday, with hopes he’ll be back for team reps on Friday.
Live news and updates from practice
As expected, Jordan Love isn’t participating. His “hold in” has reached three days. Can Love and the Packers get something done on the off day Thursday and get QB1 back on the practice field Friday?

Starting guard Elgton Jenkins is in street clothes and not practicing on Wednesday. According to Ryan Wood, the off day is a veteran rest day for Jenkins, who is entering his sixth NFL season.
As Matt LaFleur stated, receiver Jayden Reed is back from toe injury.
Kadeem Telfort, an undrafted free agent signed by the Packers last year, is getting first-team reps at right tackle, per Wes Hodkiewicz. Telfort spent all of last year on the practice squad. With Elgton Jenkins sitting out, Jordan Morgan is taking the first-team reps at left guard with Sean Rhyan at right guard.
Both Anthony Johnson Jr. and rookie Evan Williams produced interceptions for the second straight day.
Two interceptions for cornerback Eric Stokes during Wednesday’s practice.
Defense wins again. The Packers offense needs Jordan Love back. Soon!
