The Green Bay Packers selected Penn State offensive tackle Rasheed Walker at No. 249 overall in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft.
Walker started 32 games at left tackle over four years at Penn State. He was a two-time All-Big Ten selection.
Walker did miss games to end the 2021 season with a significant knee injury and was unable to do pre-draft testing. He stands 6-6 and weighs 313 pounds, with 33 5/8″ arms and a wingspan of 80 5/8″.
In Walker, the Packers are getting more depth for the offensive line room. He represents the team’s third pick along the offensive line, joining third-round pick Sean Rhyan and fourth-round pick Zach Tom.
Dane Brugler of The Athletic pegged Walker as the 10th best offensive tackle prospect in the class and a likely third- or fourth-round pick. The Packers got him deep into the seventh round.
