Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love practiced for the second straight day on Thursday, per Wes Hodkiewicz of the team’s official site.
Love returned Wednesday in a limited capacity for the first time since injuring his left knee in the season opener. While still operating on a day-to-day timeline, Love’s availability for a padded practice after working the knee on Wednesday must be seen as a good sign for his potential availability for Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
Love, who has an MCL injury in his left knee, didn’t practice last week. He was initially listed as questionable to play but later downgraded to doubtful, and the Packers made him inactive on Sunday.
Like Wednesday, Love is wearing a sleeve and brace on his left knee during practice on Thursday.
The Packers also returned receiver Jayden Reed (calf) and left guard Elgton Jenkins (illness/glute) to practice on Thursday. Both were out on Wednesday.
The Packers evened their record at 1-1 with a 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday. A dominant run game and defensive effort with backup Malik Willis helped the Packers win their 12th straight home opener.
