Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love earned the respect of his peers around the NFL during his first season as the starter in 2023. Love, who just signed a $220 million extension with the Packers, landed at No. 34 in the NFL Top 100 Players of 2024 list.
Taking over for future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, Love had a sparkling first season in Green Bay, throwing 32 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions over 17 starts in 2023. After a 3-6 start, Love caught fire down the stretch, leading the Packers to a 6-2 finish and a playoff spot while playing like a top three quarterback. In the NFC Divisional Round, Love was nearly perfect as the Packers cruised past the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
General manager Brian Gutekunst rewarded Love with a record-breaking contract extension, cementing the 2020 first-round pick as the Packers franchise quarterback.
Love, who is making his first appearance on the list, is the highest-ranking Packers player so far. Edge rusher Rashan Gary came in at No. 50.
Love ranked ahead of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who came in at No. 39, and former Packers receiver Davante Adams, who landed at No. 40.
The Top 100 Players of 2024 list was voted on by the players.
