The Green Bay Packers let a winnable game in London slip away over the final 30 minutes of play Sunday as Daniel Jones and the New York Giants mounted a spirited comeback and eventually outlasted Matt LaFleur’s team at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Based on grades from Pro Football Focus, here are the best and worst performers from the Packers’ Week 5 loss to the Giants:
Top 5 offense
1. RT Elgton Jenkins: 85.7
2. WR Randall Cobb: 83.7
3. LG Jon Runyan: 82.7
4. TE Josiah Deguara: 74.0
5. RB Aaron Jones: 71.2
Jenkins didn’t give up a pressure over 43 pass-blocking snaps and earned the offensive line’s top run-blocking grade. Cobb caught seven passes for 99 yards and averaged 3.41 yards per route run and 8.7 yards after the catch. Runyan didn’t allow a pressure and earned the top pass-blocking grade along the offensive line. Deguara caught two passes for 19 yards on just five routes run. Jones produced 80 total yards and was effective as a pass-blocker.
Top 5 defense
1. OLB Preston Smith: 84.6
2. LB De’Vondre Campbell: 80.9
3. DL Kenny Clark: 77.9
4. DL Jarran Reed: 72.8
5. OLB Rashan Gary: 71.2
Smith led the team in pressures (4) and stops (3) and produced the defense’s top run-defense grade overall. Campbell missed another tackle but was excellent in coverage, giving up just 11 receiving yards on five targets. Clark created three hurries on 29 pass-rushing snaps and a run stop. Reed had a sack and three pressures, creating the team’s top pass-rushing grade. Gary produced three pressures and three runs stops.
Bottom 5 offense
1. WR Christian Watson: 55.7
2. LT David Bakhtiari: 59.4
3. C Josh Myers: 60.1
4. QB Aaron Rodgers: 60.2
5. RB A.J. Dillon: 62.3
Watson turned two touches into -2 total yards. He ran nine routes but got just one target. Bakhtiari allowed a pressure, had a false start penalty and wasn’t effective in the run game. Myers earned a low run-blocking grade overall. Rodgers was 0-for-5 on passes thrown over 20 yards in the air and was just 16-for-30 for 166 yards on traditional passing plays (no screens).
Bottom 5 defense

Savage missed an open-field tackle on Saquon Barkley, had a penalty negating a sack and was responsible for two first-down completions by Daniel Jones. Douglas committed three penalties resulting in first downs. Walker was responsible in coverage on Barkley’s 41-yard play and graded out as the team’s worst defender against the run. Stokes gave up five completions on five targets for 70 yards. Lowry had one pressure on 19 pass-rushing snaps and graded poorly against the run.
Quarterback
Aaron Rodgers: 60.2
Rodgers averaged 5.6 yards per attempt from clean pockets, completed only four passes thrown over 10 yards in the air and went 0-for-5 on passes over 20 yards. He had three passes batted down and one thrown away. While under pressure on just 13 dropbacks, Rodgers averaged only 5.7 yards per attempt overall and took two sacks.
Special teams
Tipa Galeai, Shemar Jean-Charles and Rasul Douglas had tackles on special teams. Pat O’Donnell averaged 41.3 net yards per punt and had one downed inside the 20-yard line. Amari Rodgers fumbled a punt return.
