While he was almost certainly limited again, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was available to practice for the third consecutive day on Friday, per Mike Spofford of the team’s official site.
The injury report will tell more, but the door appears open for Love playing Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
Love returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time since injuring his knee in the season opener. He was listed as limited Wednesday and Thursday — and coach Matt LaFleur wasn’t willing to provide any information past his participation status.
The Packers will provide a final injury report on Friday afternoon. The team goes to Nashville on Saturday before playing the Titans on Sunday.
If Love is listed as questionable to play, the next milestone to watch would come on Saturday. The Packers must decide whether or not to elevate Sean Clifford from the practice squad by Saturday. Clifford was elevated last week.
Love injured his left MCL against the Philadelphia Eagles. He didn’t practice last week and was initially listed as questionable on Friday before being downgraded to doubtful on Saturday. He was inactive Sunday, and Malik Willis completed 12 of 14 passes as the starter in a 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
