Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst is expected to be in attendance for Tennessee’s pro day on Thursday, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
Among the draft-eligible prospects expected to work out at the pro day are receivers Jalin Hyatt and Cedric Tillman, offensive tackle Darnell Wright, edge rusher Byron Young, linebacker Jeremy Banks and punter Paxton Brooks.
Quarterback Hendon Hooker, who is recovering from a knee injury, will also be in attendance.
Hyatt and Wright could be first-round prospects.
Both wide receiver prospects could be fits for the Packers. Hyatt has elite speed; Tillman is far more well-rounded and fits what the team usually looks for in the position. Wright might be in play if the Packers want a developmental offensive tackle. Young is a highly athletic edge rusher prospect.
Don’t be surprised if Hyatt runs a very fast time in the 40-yard dash on Thursday.
Others who will work out: offensive lineman Jerome Carvin, defensive lineman LaTrell Bumphus, tight end Princeton Fant, defensive back Trevon Flowers, kicker Chase McGrath, linebacker Solon Page III and defensive lineman Maurese Smith.
